Meet The Founder
“Every morning you wake up with a choice. You can either follow the path of least resistance or you can become a life warrior.”
I am a yoga instructor, meditation coach, running coach, and personal trainer. I have certifications in various disciplines ranging from Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist, Certified Performance Enhancement Specialist, Certified Natural Trainer, and Certified Yoga Instructor.
However, as for my resume, I’m proudest of three things. My 8 years of experience with over 10,000 hours of training and many lives changed, my completion of the Certified Natural Trainer course with Monkey Bar Gymnasium, and my education with Rob McNamara, author of Strength to Awaken. If you want to understand my training style and philosophy better, check out Monkey Bar Gym and Rob’s book.
But to keep it short, what you will get with myself and with Life Warrior is an unconventional approach to training philosophy and movement. If you are looking to get outside the box of the typical mindset and approach to health and fitness, you have found the right place. Read through LW’s website to learn more and come to your first meeting with the expectation to change your view of health and fitness.
Furthermore, I have worked with just about every type of population, from a 65 year old client stuck in a wheelchair with paralysis in her leg and a 60% scoliosis of her spine to a client with Parkinson’s to a 12 year old who simply needs to be more active. Losing almost a 100 pounds myself, over 12 years ago, I have a heart for those who desperately want to change their lives but are not sure how to actually go about it, mentally and physically.
I’ve created Life Warrior in order to solve the problem of why so many people fail in the current fitness industry. I want to help as many people as possible change their mindsets and transform their lives.
More about me personally:
I am an avid reader and learner. I enjoy reading about anything from bio-mechanics and brain science to philosophy, biographies and history.
I’m originally from Florida but I love Colorado. I love to barefoot run, hike and camp in the Summer and snowboard in the Winter. I also won’t miss a Bronco’s football game! My favorite pass time is engaging in intelligent discussion about our bodies, our minds, and the world around us.
Personally, I practice each aspect of my program and have received innumerable benefits from doing so. I am also a practicing vegan as of July of 2012, however, as for my clientele, I keep an open mind and encourage the continued discussion as to what the optimal foods are for humans to consume.
My goals are to change the world in how it looks at well being, health and fitness, and then I want to spend the last half of my life as a philosophy professor, teaching young adults how to change the world as well.
I hope that you will join me on my journey and let me learn from you as I hope you learn from me. Send me an e-mail if you have any questions or just want some advice or a friend.
Here’s to unlimited possibilities in this life!
